Israeli bombing targets Damascus and Aleppo airports

Syrian official television announced, on Thursday, that an Israeli attack targeted the two main airports in the capital, Damascus, and the city of Aleppo in northern Syria.

Local station Sham FM reported that Syrian defenses were launched in response to the attack.

A Syrian security source told Sputnik: “Israeli aircraft launched a number of missiles from above the occupied territories, targeting the vicinity of the capital, Damascus,” adding that “other aircraft targeted Aleppo International Airport with missiles directed from above the territorial waters, off the Syrian coast.”
