Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday evening, “The war that began in Gaza will change the face of the Middle East.”
This came during a call he made with the heads of the local authorities of the Gaza envelope settlements, expressing his support for them and the settlers.
Netanyahu said: What Hamas will go through will be difficult and terrible. We are already in the midst of the campaign and have just begun it, and we must be strong in these difficult days. This matter will take time and there is a need for a strong position in these difficult days.
He stressed that his government would stand by the settlers and work to help them, calling on them to be steadfast.
