Today, Sunday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh discussed with British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly the ongoing escalation in the Gaza Strip.
The Prime Minister said in a phone call with the British Foreign Minister: “Israel bears full responsibility for what is happening, by creating a climate of hatred, violence, incitement, and violating international law.”
He added: "We have always warned of the seriousness of the repercussions that will result from continuing the siege of our people in the Gaza Strip, continuing to storm cities, towns, villages and camps, violating sanctities, attacking Muslim and Christian worshipers, and spitting on monks."
He considered that the international alignment behind Israel encourages it to commit more crimes in the Gaza Strip against our people, and that our people are one in Gaza, the West Bank, and the diaspora.
He continued: "Now, the world is required to stop the aggression against Gaza and create a political horizon that meets the rights of our people."
