On Saturday evening, the United States affirmed its commitment to defending Israel after the events that took place on the Gaza Strip border.
According to the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a call took place between the latter and US President Joe Biden, where the latter affirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Israel’s right to defend itself.
While Netanyahu stressed to Biden the urgent need for a long military operation.
The US Secretary of State and Defense also affirmed the same positions in press statements.
