Palestinian Activist Aya Khatib surrenders herself to Israeli authorities to serve her sentence

Activist Aya Khatib from the village of Arara Al-Muthalath in the occupied interior, on Monday morning, surrendered herself to the Israeli occupation authorities, to serve her 4-year sentence in “Al-Jalama” prison.

Prisoner Khatib served one year and two months of the sentence issued against her, before the ruling was issued last August 15 by the District Court in Haifa, which convicted her of “recruiting funds to support terrorism and passing them to the Hamas movement.”
