Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian man from Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, and another from occupied Jerusalem on Thursday.
Local sources identified the man from Balata as Zaher Abu Ayyash. He was reportedly detained as he was passing through a military checkpoint near the village of Nabi Elias, east of Qalqilya.
The second man was identified as Khader Barani from the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs also said on Thursday that the occupation authorities extended the detention of the young Jerusalemite Muhammad Nimr until next Wednesday, Ahmed Shweiki and Noureddine Qawasmi until next Thursday, and Ramadan Jamjoom until next Monday.
