Thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem's Old City, despite the stationing of Israeli occupation forces in the area.
The Waqf in Jerusalem estimated that about 50,000 worshipers performed the Friday prayers.
Local sources said that Israel deployed forces in the streets of the city and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, where it checked the ID cards of worshippers.
