Throngs of Palestinians gathered in Jenin on Wednesday to mourn nine Palestinian martyrs who were killed in the Israel's invasion of the occupied West Bank city.
Thousands arrived from across the West Bank to join the procession, which departed from Jenin Governmental Hospital towards the city and the refugee camp before noon today.
The mourners chanted slogans condemning the crimes of the occupation and calling for national unity.
The mourners also called on the international community to intervene and provide protection for Palestinians against ongoing Israeli aggression and crimes.
The Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale operation on the city of Jenin, which resulted in the death of 12 Palestinians, including five minors, and more than 140 injuries, 30 of them in a serious condition.
