Israeli warplanes launched air strikes on two military sites in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday night.
According to Al-Quds.com's correspondent, warplanes bombed at a site northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the north of the Gaza Strip. Other jets fired several missiles at another site southwest of Gaza City.
The shelling caused loud explosions, but no injuries were reported, while the targeted sites and surrounding houses were damaged.
Earlier in the evening, militants had fired rockets toward Israel in response to the two-day operation in the West Bank city of Jenin.
