Hebrew Channel 13 reported, on Sunday evening, that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a security meeting to discuss the Palestinian situation in the West Bank, and the conditions the Palestinian Authority is going through in light of warnings of its bankruptcy.
According to the Hebrew channel, senior security officials will participate in the meeting, which will also be attended by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Chief of Staff Herzi Halevy, along with Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar and other senior officers.
The channel quoted an Israeli political source as saying that the meeting will discuss the recent deterioration of the security situation, in addition to the unstable situation of the Palestinian Authority, and the possibility of strengthening it, and possibly taking steps and measures aimed at helping it to do so.
