An Egyptian security delegation conducted a field investigation with the Israeli army command in the border area where the operation took place yesterday, which led to the killing of 3 soldiers at the hands of an Egyptian policeman.
The Israeli army said that the commander of the 80th Division, Itzik Cohen, received the delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Defense, to investigate the incident.
The army added: We are working in full and close cooperation with Egypt to find out the circumstances of the incident and draw lessons.
