On Thursday evening, a number of citizens were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of an event called for by the national and Islamic forces, east of Gaza City.
According to local sources, two young men were moderately wounded.
The occupation forces heavily fired tear gas canisters at the participants in the event.
The participants raised the Palestinian flag in response to the march of Israeli flags in occupied Jerusalem.
