On Monday evening, US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy sent a strongly worded message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding Chinese investments in Israel.
McCarthy was delivering a speech in the Israeli Knesset during the opening of the summer session, referring to the issue of China.
"China should not be allowed to steal our technologies," McCarthy said, accusing Beijing of posing a threat to US-Israeli innovations.
He added, "There is a new process to supervise foreign investments, and I am glad that Israel is reviewing the issue of Chinese investment."
