A 40-year-old citizen died last night of his injuries as a result of a traffic accident he had a week ago in the city of Qalqilya .
Colonel Louay Arziqat, the media spokesman for the police, stated that the accident occurred between an electric bike and a vehicle, and the electric bike driver was transferred to the Arab Specialist Hospital in Nablus to receive treatment due to his serious injury, and the doctors announced his death yesterday evening.
Colonel Arziqat confirmed that the accident experts opened an investigation into the accident at the time, and the driver of the vehicle was arrested to take the necessary legal measures against him.
Colonel Arziqat appealed to all citizens to observe safety and security conditions while driving vehicles and to refrain from driving electric bicycles because of the danger they pose to their lives.
