Today (Sunday) , the Syrian air defense media responded to an Israeli missile strike that targeted points in the southern region, and shot down some missiles, which led to some material losses, according to the Syrian official media.
The Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted an unnamed military source as saying, "At about five o'clock this morning, the Israeli enemy carried out an air attack with a number of missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting some points in the southern region."
The source added that the air defenses "confronted the aggression's missiles and shot down some of them...and the aggression led to some material losses."
On the fourth of this month, two civilians were killed by an Israeli missile strike that targeted some points in the vicinity of the Syrian capital, Damascus, and the southern region, and the air defenses were able to confront the Israeli bombardment, according to a Syrian military source.
