On Friday afternoon, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army , Herzi Halevi , ordered the mobilization of reserve forces in light of the current security tensions.
According to an Israeli military spokesman, it was decided to focus on strengthening elements of the reserve forces from the air defense formations and the air force.
This came after an evaluation session that Halevy held with his senior officers.
