The departure of 3,315 passengers and the arrival of 3,462 returnees through the Rafah crossing

Gaza - “Al- Quds ” dot com - During the past week (June 19-23, 2022), 3,315 passengers left the Gaza Strip through the Rafah land crossing in the southern Gaza Strip, including 1,232 pilgrims.

The Crossings and Borders Authority stated that the first batch of 1,232 pilgrims left the Gaza Strip in two batches, on Tuesday and Wednesday, through the Rafah land crossing to perform the rituals of Hajj.

The General Authority for Crossings and Borders at the Ministry of Interior said, in a statistic it published on Friday morning: “Last week, work through the crossing witnessed the arrival of 3,462 returnees, while the Egyptian authorities returned 77 passengers.

The authority stated that work at the Rafah crossing will be suspended on Friday and Saturday.
