KABUL - (Xinhua) An explosion rocked the Afghan capital, Kabul, on Sunday, causing casualties, Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafi Thakur said.
"An explosion occurred outside the gate of a military airport this morning, and unfortunately some of our compatriots were killed and injured," the spokesman told Xinhua today.
He said that an investigation had been opened into the incident, without giving further details.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack.
