Ramallah - "Jerusalem" dot com - Minister of National Economy Khaled Osseily, and a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, headed by the Bank's First Vice President, Juergen Rechtrink, discussed today, Wednesday, areas of joint cooperation in developing the national economy and enabling the ministry to implement its projects.
During the meeting, which was held at the ministry's headquarters, the delegation praised the ministry's efforts to improve the legislative environment regulating the national economy, the latest of which was the adoption of a modern corporate law.
The minister stressed, according to a statement by the ministry, the need to support the ministry's projects and programs aimed at enabling the private sector to implement its programs and projects, especially within the framework of small and micro projects, appreciating the support provided by the bank to support the Palestinian economy.
The two sides agreed on continuous coordination and cooperation to advance the national economy.
