Paris - (AFP) - Paris Fashion Week organizers announced Wednesday that Victoria Beckham will join the official list of designers participating in this event, through a live show on the catwalk next fall.
The British designer and former Spice Girls star has, in the past, presented her fashion shows in London and New York, but has not held any in-person fashion shows since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Beckham will present her new luxury collection during the Spring 2023 women's ready-to-wear shows, which will take place from September 26 to October 4.
Paris Fashion Week recently attracted a number of British talents, including the rising men's designer Craig Green, who returned to the catwalk in June, also for the first time since the outbreak of the epidemic began.
Beckham held a live show for her luxury brand in London in February 2020, then presented online shows in September 2020 and February 2021.
But she was notably absent from London Fashion Week last February, having previously stated that high costs make it difficult to present live shows.
Beckham joined the London Fashion Week program in 2018 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the launch of her brand, after years of walking shows in New York.
