Today, Friday, Hamas denounced the occupation's policies against the educational system in occupied Jerusalem , especially its attempts to erase the curricula, distort the Palestinian identity and obliterate its features among the younger generation, and limit the possibility of developing the school and educational environment within its schools.
Muhammad Hamadeh, a Hamas spokesman for the city of Jerusalem, praised the educational institutions and their pioneering national role, expressing his full support for them.
Hamadeh emphasized that the attempts to "clandestine" the educational curriculum and tamper with the national educational institutions will not succeed, and will be shattered on the rock of the steadfastness and awareness of the Palestinian people.
The Hamas spokesman called for mobilizing resources and energies, officially and popularly, to strengthen the national education system in the city of Jerusalem, to enable our people to enjoy all their rights, foremost of which is their right to education.
