The Islamic-Christian Commission for the Support of Jerusalem and Holy Sites condemns the heinous terrorist crime committed by the occupation forces and settlers in the town of Tel, south of Nablus, which resulted in the martyrdom of a number of people and the injury of others, in a new episode in the series of organized bloody terrorism targeting our people in all places of their presence.
The Commission affirms that this crime is not an isolated incident, as the cold-blooded killing of Palestinians is no longer merely individual excesses, but has become an open war that reflects the occupation's doctrine based on killing, intimidation, and impunity, and providing all forms of support and protection for settler gangs to commit their bloody attacks against unarmed Palestinians.
The Commission expresses its regret at the suspicious and shameful international silence towards these repeated crimes, which is no longer merely inaction, but this silence has turned into a political and moral cover that encourages the occupation to proceed with its policy of killing, terrorism, and settlement. The continued reliance on statements of concern and condemnation without taking deterrent measures makes the international force a partner in providing an environment of impunity.
The Commission calls on the international community, the United Nations, and the International Criminal Court, which still believe in the values of justice and human rights, to take immediate action to stop the crimes of the occupation and its settlers, provide international protection for the Palestinian people, and hold those responsible for these crimes accountable as war crimes.
The Commission affirms that these crimes will not deter the Palestinian people from continuing to defend their land and adhere to their legitimate rights to life, freedom, and dignity, and that the terrorism of the occupation and its settlers will not succeed in breaking the will of our people to continue their legitimate struggle until they obtain their legitimate national rights.
