Palestinian medical and field sources reported today, Wednesday, the martyrdom of four individuals and the injury of several civilians due to a series of new violations carried out by the occupation forces of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. Regarding the casualties, young Tamer Saeed Abu Nahal was martyred after a drone targeted a group of citizens near Dar Al-Arqam school in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. Citizen Amr Jumaa Al-Lawah was also martyred by direct fire from occupation soldiers towards displaced persons' tents in the Mawasi Rafah area. In another airstrike, young Mohammed Naim Jundiya was martyred due to shelling that targeted civilians near the Gaza Municipality Park, reflecting an escalation in the direct targeting of civilians.
On the ground, these attacks coincided with intense artillery shelling that targeted Sheikh Nasser neighborhood and the eastern areas of Khan Yunis, amidst movements of occupation military vehicles to expand their control in what is known as the 'Yellow Line' in the Qizan Rashwan area. Warships also participated in these violations by opening machine gun fire towards the southern coast of the Strip, causing panic among displaced persons and fishermen.
These field developments deepen fears of the collapse of the truce agreement signed on October 10, 2025, with Arab and American mediation in the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh. Observers believe that the continuation of these violations empties the agreement of its humanitarian and security content, especially with the occupation's deliberate targeting of densely populated areas of displaced persons that were previously classified as safe zones.
According to official statistics, the total number of martyrs since the truce came into effect has risen to 1053, in addition to 3406 others injured with varying degrees of severity. Today's toll comes after another bloody day that saw the martyrdom of three individuals in fourteen violations, putting the political path of the agreement to a real test amidst the continued military escalation on the ground.
