In a related context to the field reality, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed tragic updates on the toll of the ongoing aggression, as the number of documented martyrs rose to 73,032, while the number of injured reached 173,357 since October 8, 2023. The ministry indicated that the past twenty-four hours alone witnessed the arrival of 9 martyrs and 41 injuries to hospitals operating in the Strip.
Medical sources confirmed that the announced figures do not include all victims, as hundreds are still under the rubble of destroyed buildings and on rugged roads. The sources explained that civil defense and ambulance crews face significant difficulties in reaching the missing due to continued targeting and lack of resources, which suggests a greater actual increase in the number of victims than what is officially recorded.
