The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced that the Israeli occupation has committed a series of serious and repeated violations since the announcement of the end of the war on the Gaza Strip, totaling 47 documented violations.
The media office clarified, in a statement, that these violations varied between crimes of direct gunfire on citizens, crimes of bombing and deliberate targeting, and the arrest of a number of civilians, in practices that "reflect the continuation of the aggressive approach of the occupation despite the announcement of a ceasefire."
The statement indicated that these assaults were carried out by the occupation using military vehicles and tanks stationed on the outskirts of residential neighborhoods, and electronic cranes equipped with remote sensing and targeting devices, in addition to drones (quadcopters) that continue to fly over residential areas, carrying out direct gunfire and targeting civilians.
These violations were observed in all governorates of the Gaza Strip without exception, confirming that the occupation did not adhere to the cessation of aggression, according to the statement.
The government media office also announced the martyrdom of 38 Palestinians and the injury of 143 with varying wounds, due to the continuous violations of the Israeli occupation.
The office held the occupation fully responsible for these violations and called on the United Nations and the guarantor parties of the agreement to intervene urgently to compel the occupation to stop its ongoing aggression and to protect the unarmed civilian population in the Gaza Strip.
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Israel reached an agreement through mediators on October 9 to cease fire and exchange prisoners, based on a plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump, and the first phase of the agreement came into effect the following day.
This phase included the announcement of the end of the war, the withdrawal of Israeli army forces to what was termed the "yellow line," the return of living and deceased Israeli prisoners, and the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
For its part, the Ministry of Health in the sector stated that 29 martyrs arrived at hospitals, including 23 whose bodies were retrieved, two martyrs affected by their injuries, and four martyrs due to direct targeting by the occupation, in addition to 21 injuries in the past 48 hours.
The ministry added that 11 martyrs are still under the rubble after the massacre of the Abu Shaban family, and have not been retrieved until now.
The ministry indicated that several victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, where rescue and civil defense teams are unable to reach them until now.
The Ministry of Health announced today, Saturday, the receipt of the bodies of 15 Palestinians from Israel through the International Committee of the Red Cross, bringing the total number of bodies received since last Tuesday to 135.
The toll of the Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to 68,116 martyrs, in addition to 170,200 injured since October 7, 2023.
The occupation did not adhere to the cessation of aggression, reflecting the continuation of the aggressive approach.
