Two Israeli analysts confirmed that the Hamas movement will remain and will not disappear from the Gaza Strip after the implementation of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to end the war, as Hamas expert Eyal Ofer stated that "Hamas is not going anywhere."
Ofer explained that Hamas establishes its continuity on three levels: the first is political, as it seeks to create a Palestinian national framework; the second is military, as it considers itself a resistance movement against occupation; and the third relates to international responsibility for the situation in Gaza.
Analyst Nadav Eyal pointed out the impossibility of disarming Hamas under current conditions, emphasizing that complete Israeli control over Gaza is the only condition for disarming the movement.
Hamas will not disappear; it is a popular movement rooted in Palestinian public opinion.
