This came in statements by the movement's leader, Taher al-Nunu, who revealed that Hamas has not received any copy of the American plan up to this moment and was not part of the negotiations that led to it.
The Hamas leader firmly linked the release of prisoners held by the resistance to the complete end of the war, explaining that "the release of the occupation's prisoners is tied to the end of the war and the withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza."
We do not wish for the war to continue, and we will study any proposal that does not contradict the interests of the Palestinians.
