Dozens of Brazilian journalists participated in a solidarity event with Palestinian journalists in the Gaza Strip, organized via "Zoom" between the Brazilian Journalists' Union and the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate, with the presence of the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Brazil, Ibrahim Al-Zebin.

Al-Zebin emphasized the importance of networking between Brazilian and Palestinian journalists, which allows Brazilian media to obtain information from its true sources through Palestinian journalists, stressing the role of media in conveying the truth and defending just causes.

For his part, the head of the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate, Nasser Abu Bakr, reviewed the crimes and violations faced by Palestinian journalists, pointing to the extent of the dangers they face amid aggression, siege, and starvation, and he thanked the Embassy of the State of Palestine for its efforts in organizing the meeting.

For her part, the president of the Brazilian Journalists' Union, Samira Castro, expressed the solidarity of Brazilian journalists with their Palestinian colleagues, especially in the Gaza Strip in light of what they are suffering due to the genocide war and the continued targeting by the Israeli occupation in an attempt to silence the truth and prevent it from reaching the world.

In turn, the deputy head of the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate, Tahseen Al-Ashtal, provided an explanation about the Syndicate's efforts in establishing media solidarity centers in Gaza and Khan Younis, highlighting the serious violations and crimes faced by Palestinian journalists while performing their work.
