A Palestinian youth was killed and at least 4 others were injured during attacks by extremist settlers and incursions by occupation forces into several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday evening the death of the young man, Said Al-Nassan, 20 years old, who succumbed to his injuries from gunfire by settlers in an attack targeting the town of Al-Mughayer, northeast of Ramallah in the West Bank.
Local sources reported that groups of settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, stormed a public park in the southeastern part of the town and opened fire at citizens, resulting in injuries to several of them, including young Said Al-Nassan, before his martyrdom was announced.
Four Palestinians were also injured on Tuesday evening during the Israeli army's incursions into several areas in the West Bank, while settlers continued their assaults on Palestinians and their properties.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated in a statement that two Palestinians were injured by live ammunition fired by the Israeli army during the incursion into the town of Sa'ir, north of Hebron, in the southern West Bank.
It added that one of the injured was detained by occupation forces and his health status is unknown, while the other, a 20-year-old, was shot in the foot and transferred to the hospital.
West of Hebron, the association reported that its teams transported a 7-year-old child to the hospital after he was injured by a gas bomb during the incursion into the town of Idna.
According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli army stormed the town and several of its neighborhoods multiple times since Tuesday morning, firing live and rubber bullets and tear gas canisters among the houses.
In Beit Awwa, southwest of Hebron, Israeli forces stormed the town, raided homes, and removed Palestinian flags from local institutions, including schools, while the army closed the center of the nearby town of Dura and forced shop owners to shut down.
On another note, the official Palestinian news agency reported that settlers attacked a Palestinian home and assaulted a citizen in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
It added that a number of settlers attacked the home of citizen Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al-Jabareen, resulting in injuries to citizen Shaima Al-Jabareen with bruises and contusions, who was treated by Red Crescent teams.
In northern West Bank, the agency also reported that the Israeli army arrested two young men from the village of Madama, south of Nablus.
It clarified that Israeli forces stormed the village with several military vehicles, forced shop owners to close their stores, searched vehicles, and stormed the village playground, arresting two young men.
The army also stormed several villages and towns in Nablus governorate, including Bizzaria, Qusra, Kafr Qalil, Burin, Duma, Sarta, Sebastia, and Beit Furik, and fired tear gas canisters.
Regarding settler attacks, the agency reported that settlers attacked the village of Burin, south of Nablus, leading to clashes during which settlers fired live ammunition, with no injuries reported.
In the Jenin camp in northern West Bank, Palestine Voice Radio reported that the Israeli army arrested two young men from the Al-Hadaf neighborhood in the camp, while Palestine TV reported that Israeli forces detained several young men and searched vehicles near Ibn Sina Hospital.
In central West Bank, the Israeli army stormed the city of Al-Bireh and the village of Deir Abzi' west of Ramallah, firing bullets, sound bombs, and tear gas canisters, with no injuries reported.
Alongside the genocide in Gaza, the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have killed at least 1,043 Palestinians and injured about 10,160, in addition to arresting more than 19,000, according to official Palestinian data.
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 65,382 martyrs and 166,985 injured, most of whom are children and women, and famine that has claimed the lives of 442 Palestinians, including 147 children.
The occupation forces continue their assaults on Palestinians in the West Bank.
