An international high-level briefing session was held at the United Nations headquarters last night, led by Egypt, Germany, the United Nations, and Palestine, with representatives from more than 30 countries participating, to follow up on preparations for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip as soon as the aggression stops, and to discuss the political and technical aspects of implementing the Arab reconstruction plan.
The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment to the reconstruction and early recovery plan in Gaza, and to demonstrate the shared desire to make the international conference that Egypt intends to host in Cairo successful as soon as a ceasefire is announced.
Mustafa emphasized the need to expedite the enforcement of international will to stop the aggression, clarifying that the Palestinian government continues to update its plans for relief and early economic recovery, with 56 executive programs prepared to restore life and essential services to the sector.
