The Israeli occupation army announced on Friday the closure of Salah al-Din axis, which is the main artery for movement and transportation between the north and south of the Gaza Strip, to the displaced people heading from Gaza City and its surroundings.
In a statement, the army clarified that the closure aims to serve its military operations in the area, while also confirming that the Rashid axis (Sea Street) will remain the only available route for civilians to move towards the south of the Strip.
This measure comes amid ongoing military operations, as the army emphasized that it "will continue to operate with unprecedented and intense force against Hamas and other organizations" in the Strip.
We will continue to operate with unprecedented and intense force against Hamas and other organizations.
