A report from the occupation army's radio revealed that Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has decided to increase deductions from Palestinian tax revenues by hundreds of millions of shekels annually.
The occupation entity previously collected about 35 million shekels monthly just for electricity, while the amount has now risen to between 50 and 70 million shekels monthly.
This measure is part of a strategy aimed at tightening the financial noose around the Palestinian Authority and weakening it.
This measure cannot be separated from Smotrich's announced plan to weaken the Palestinian Authority and push it towards collapse.
