The government media office in Gaza stated that more than one million Palestinians, including over a third of a million children, are still residing in the city of Gaza and its northern areas, refusing to evacuate to the south of the Strip.
The government office clarified that the Palestinians' refusal to evacuate to the south comes despite the ongoing brutal aggression and genocide being carried out by the Israeli occupation.
It confirmed that this aggression aims to impose the crime of forced displacement, noting that the Israeli occupation has previously asserted that this time, the displacement would be without return to the city of Gaza and its northern areas, permanently.
We affirm that more than one million Palestinian people are steadfast in their land, rejecting the plan for forced displacement to the south.
