The Israeli army carried out a large-scale arrest campaign in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, targeting 26 Palestinians, including leaders from the 'Fatah' movement and a mayor.
Arrests took place in the governorates of Salfit, Jenin, Tulkarm, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Hebron, where the army arrested Ahmad Abdul Karim Al-Daik, the deputy secretary of the 'Fatah' movement in Salfit.
The arrests also included movement leader Bahjat Asi and three citizens from the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan west of the city.
The Israeli army is conducting a large-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank that includes leaders from the Fatah movement.
