Four Palestinians were injured on Friday due to assaults carried out by the Israeli army through beatings and live fire near military checkpoints in the city of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated in a statement that its teams "dealt with three injuries resulting from a beating at the Deir Sharaf checkpoint west of Nablus, and they were transferred to the hospital."
Meanwhile, the official Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported, citing the Red Crescent, that a fourth Palestinian was injured by live fire at the Al-Murabba military checkpoint southwest of Nablus, without immediate knowledge of the nature of his injury.
The director of the ambulance and emergency center of the Red Crescent in Nablus, Amin Ahmad, reported that the ambulance teams moved after receiving a report about Israeli soldiers firing at a citizen near the Al-Murabba checkpoint, but the soldiers stationed at the checkpoint prevented them from reaching the injured person, according to the agency.

The annexation of the West Bank by Israel would eliminate the possibility of establishing an independent Palestinian state, in implementation of the two-state solution principle (Palestinian and Israeli), as stipulated by international resolutions.
Alongside the genocide in Gaza, the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have killed at least 1,017 Palestinians and injured about 7,000 others, in addition to the arrest of more than 18,500, according to Palestinian data.
