After rejecting the new occupation ambassador, "Israel" reduces diplomatic representation in Brazil.

The occupying state announced on Monday evening a reduction in the level of diplomatic representation with Brazil, after it deemed its president, Lula da Silva, a "persona non grata." This decision came in light of Brazil's refusal to endorse the appointment of Gali Dagan as the ambassador of the occupying state in Brasília.

The occupying state's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that Brazilian authorities have shown a critical and hostile approach towards the occupation since October 7, 2023, the date that witnessed escalating tensions between the two sides. The ministry pointed out that Lula da Silva's remarks, in which he likened the actions of the occupation to those of the Nazis, were a turning point.

In response to these remarks, the occupying state announced that relations with Brazil would now be managed at a lower diplomatic level, affirming that it would continue to maintain close contacts with the circles of friends of the occupation in Brazil.

It is worth noting that relations between the occupying state and Brazil have seen increasing tension since before the aggression launched by the occupying state on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023. Relations were good with former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, but deteriorated with Lula da Silva taking office.

Da Silva is known for his critical stance towards the occupation, having accused it of committing genocide in Gaza, comparing its actions to the extermination of the Jewish people by Adolf Hitler. He emphasized that what is happening in the Gaza Strip is not a war, but genocide, pointing out that this is not a war of soldiers against soldiers, but a war between a highly equipped army and women and children.

The occupation, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop these actions.

Statistics indicate that the Israeli genocide has resulted in the martyrdom of 62,744 Palestinians and the injury of 158,259 others, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced, leading to a famine that resulted in the martyrdom of 300 Palestinians, including 117 children.
