The Palestinian Committee for Implementing Security Council Resolutions announced today, Tuesday, the inclusion of 15 new names of settlers and their entities on the national terrorism list. This inclusion consists of 11 terrorists and 4 terrorist entities, amid the alarming escalation of their terrorism and ongoing assaults on Palestinian villages and cities.
This decision came in response to the increasing systematic crimes committed by the settlers, including repeated assaults on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and criminal practices against Palestinian villages and camps. These actions reflect the organized state terrorism practiced by the occupying authorities.
The occupying authorities exploit their continuous aggression against the Gaza Strip to bolster their illegal colonial project, further intensifying tensions in the region. In this context, the committee affirmed that these assaults represent an extension of the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing under international law.
The committee emphasized that it will circulate the names listed to other countries, calling for their inclusion in terrorism lists in line with international efforts to combat terrorism and its financing. This measure comes as part of enhancing international cooperation to confront terrorist threats.
It is worth noting that the Palestinian Committee for Implementing Security Council Resolutions was established under Law No. (39/2022) regarding the combating of money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The committee operates under the leadership of the Attorney General and includes representatives from relevant official and security bodies.
The inclusion of settlers and their entities on the national terrorism list is an important step in confronting the terrorism faced by the Palestinian people, reflecting Palestine's commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms.
The occupying authorities practice organized state terrorism, in addition to a policy of forced displacement.
