Israeli occupation forces notified citizens in the village of Beit Iskaria south of Bethlehem today, Wednesday, to evacuate their lands located within the Gush Etzion settlement bloc established on the village's land.

The head of the Beit Iskaria village council, Mr. Muhammad Ibrahim Attallah, reported that the occupation forces stormed the village and delivered an oral notice demanding the evacuation of an area estimated at 20 dunams of land planted with grape trees, which belongs to the citizens and their relatives.

According to the information received, the notice included a time frame of ten days to implement the evacuation order, reflecting a new escalation in the policy of tightening restrictions on Palestinian farmers in the area.

The village of Beit Iskaria consists of five population clusters: Beit Iskaria, Khillat al-Baluta, Wadi Shakheit, Khillat Afana, and the Shafa area, with approximately 97 houses and a population of around 650 residents.

These measures come as part of a series of violations carried out by the occupation forces against Palestinian lands, specifically targeting agricultural areas and homes in regions threatened with confiscation or evacuation, aiming to impose complete control over the occupied Palestinian territories.
