The Gaza Strip witnessed a dangerous escalation in the pace of Israeli aggression today, as dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured due to the occupation's targeting of displaced persons' camps and citizens' homes, amid ongoing systematic demolitions of neighborhoods and destruction of homes.

A source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported that a Palestinian was martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting the west of Al-Zawayda town in the central Gaza Strip, while the martyrdom of five other Palestinians was announced in an airstrike that targeted a residential apartment in the same town.

In Deir al-Balah, local media reported that the targeting of a house belonging to the Al-Qurainawi family resulted in the death of four Palestinians and injuries to several others, while a young man was martyred in a bombardment that targeted a house in the Al-Yarmouk neighborhood in the Al-Daraj area of Gaza City, according to local sources.

In the context of targeting humanitarian aid, 12 Palestinians were killed while gathering in front of a distribution center belonging to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation near the Netzarim axis in the central Gaza Strip, as they awaited aid trucks, amid conditions of hunger and malnutrition suffered by the population due to the ongoing siege.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society clarified that more than 90 people were injured and transferred to Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza after the occupation forces targeted aid gatherings, while the previous day's toll reported the killing of 15 Palestinians near an aid center in Rafah, including children and women.

In the southern Gaza Strip, a source at Nasser Medical Hospital confirmed that three Palestinians were martyred and others injured due to a drone strike targeting tents of displaced persons west of Khan Younis city, where the occupation forces also targeted the vicinity of the Al-Amal neighborhood and launched airstrikes on the Japanese neighborhood, in addition to shelling by warboats on the Rafah beach.

On Friday, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced the death of about 82 Palestinians, including 49 aid seekers, and the injury of 554 others in various areas of the Strip, with the aggression continuing since the beginning of last March, which resulted in the death of about 9,163 Palestinians and the injury of more than 35,000, according to official data.

Since the beginning of the ongoing aggression on October 7, 2023, Israeli operations have resulted in the death of more than 60,000 Palestinians and the injury of more than 147,000, in a scene described as a genocide targeting civilians and infrastructure in the Strip systematically.
