The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that on Saturday, August 2, 2025, trucks loaded with medicines and medical supplies will arrive at hospitals in the sector, through the World Health Organization (WHO).

The ministry clarified that the incoming trucks do not contain food items, but rather essential and highly important supplies, which are classified as high-need categories, aimed at supporting the health sector and continuing to provide care for patients and the injured.

The ministry confirmed that these medicines and medical supplies are crucial for saving the lives of critical cases and providing necessary treatment amid the difficult humanitarian conditions the sector is experiencing.

The Ministry of Health also issued an urgent appeal to citizens, dignitaries, families, and relevant parties to protect the convoy and ensure its safe arrival at hospitals, and not to interfere with it, to guarantee the continuity of health services.

This step comes as part of international efforts to support the health sector in Gaza, especially in light of the ongoing blockade and the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the population, which significantly affect the availability of essential medicines and medical supplies.
