The Gaza Ministry of Health said on Saturday that the Strip is experiencing a state of actual famine, manifested in a severe shortage of basic foodstuffs and widespread malnutrition, amid a complete lack of medical resources to treat the consequences of this catastrophe.
The Ministry of Health confirmed in a statement that medical teams have observed a significant increase in death rates resulting from hunger and malnutrition.
She warned of an unprecedented health and humanitarian catastrophe if international silence continues, calling on the international community, UN agencies, and human rights organizations to take urgent and effective action to halt these massacres and open humanitarian corridors for the safe and regular supply of food, medicine, and fuel.
