The occupation continues its aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its two camps for the 151st day.

Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 151st consecutive day, and on the Nour Shams camp for the 138th day, amid ongoing escalation and military reinforcements, accompanied by the demolition of homes.

According to local sources, over the past few days and weeks, the occupation forces have carried out demolition and bulldozing operations against residential buildings in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, using heavy bulldozers. These operations resulted in extensive destruction to these homes, which collapsed completely, turning neighborhoods into empty spaces covered in dust and ruin. Wide streets were created in their place, separating the neighborhoods from each other.

She added that the occupation forces continue to impose a tight siege on the two camps and their surroundings, with infantry units, military vehicles, and heavy bulldozers deployed in alleys and entrances, preventing residents from reaching their homes or checking on their property, amid direct gunfire targeting anyone approaching the area.

This ongoing daily escalation comes as part of a plan announced by the occupation authorities last May to demolish 106 buildings in both camps, including 58 buildings in Tulkarm camp alone, comprising more than 250 housing units and dozens of commercial establishments, in addition to 48 buildings in Nour Shams camp, under the pretext of opening roads and changing geographical features.

The escalation has led to the forced displacement of more than 5,000 families from the two camps, representing over 25,000 citizens, and the complete destruction of more than 500 homes and the partial destruction of 2,573 others. Meanwhile, the entrances to the camps remain blocked with barriers, transforming them into almost lifeless areas.

In a related context, the occupation forces today sent military reinforcements of vehicles and infantry units to the city and its suburbs, at a time when the occupation forces are witnessing intensive movements of occupation vehicles around the clock, as they deliberately obstruct the movement of citizens and vehicles, especially in the middle of the market, and pursue them, while sounding their horns in a provocative manner, and driving against the traffic, endangering the lives of citizens.

Today, the occupation forces stormed the Dhenaba suburb east of the city, and tore up pictures of the martyr Ali Abu Khazna near the old Dhenaba mosque.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continue to transform Nablus Street into a military barracks, continuing their seizure of a number of residential buildings there, as well as parts of the city's northern neighborhood, specifically those facing Tulkarm refugee camp. The occupation forces forcibly evacuated residents of these neighborhoods, some of which have been under occupation control for more than four months, and have deployed heavy machinery and bulldozers in the vicinity.

This street, which serves as a link between the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, has also suffered significant damage due to earth mounds placed by the occupation forces several months ago. The occupation forces are also heavily present, setting up flying and surprise checkpoints, obstructing vehicle movement and exacerbating the suffering of civilians.

The ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens of people have been injured and arrested, and widespread destruction has been caused to infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.
