Croatian President Zoran Milanovic said that Croatia must recognize the state of Palestine, noting the importance of speaking frankly about "Israel's ugly policy."
In a press statement following his attendance at an event in the capital, Zagreb, he noted, "Criminals must be punished, and a portion of the current Israeli leadership is guilty."
Milanovic said that Israel is pursuing a criminal policy that will lead to no results.
