Today, Sunday, the Israeli occupation authorities delivered eight demolition and stop-work notices to homes and barracks in the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit.
Local sources reported that the notices affected six inhabited two-story houses comprising 12 apartments. The houses are owned by Bassam Hashem Sabra, Salam Imad Bakr, Alaa Fayez Abdel Rahman, Hakam Ismail Abdel Rahman, Hekmat Ismail Abdel Rahman, and Hakim Ismail Abdel Rahman. Two stop-work notices were also issued for two agricultural barns.
She explained that one of the houses that received a demolition notice is an old house that dates back decades.
- She pointed out that the town of Bruqin is being subjected to a fierce colonialist attack led by the occupation army, targeting the seizure and demolition of land, in addition to distributing demolition notices to residential buildings.
It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities distributed 48 demolition notices against Palestinian facilities last month. The notices were concentrated in the Ramallah Governorate with 21 notices, Salfit with 18 notices, Tulkarm with 4 notices, Jerusalem with 3 notices, and Nablus with 1 notice.
