A number of citizens were killed and injured in Israeli shelling and gunfire on several areas in the Gaza Strip at dawn and early Sunday morning.
Medical sources reported that five civilians, including two girls, were killed when an Israeli drone bombed a camp housing displaced people in Khan Yunis. Child Dima Abu Musa also died from wounds she sustained in a previous Israeli bombardment of Khan Yunis.
In Rafah, four citizens were killed and 70 others were injured by Israeli army fire near an aid center west of the city.
In the central Gaza Strip, a citizen was killed and others were injured by Israeli gunfire near an aid distribution center at the so-called "Netzarim axis."
The occupation army also blew up citizens' homes and facilities in Jaliya, north of the Gaza Strip, and east of Gaza City.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said yesterday that "the aid distribution model in the Gaza Strip is ineffective and amounts to inviting people to their deaths."
The death toll from the occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 54,772, and the number of injuries to 125,834.
