Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich said on Sunday, "We must change our approach to war and move toward occupying the entire Gaza Strip."

"We must not fear imposing military rule in Gaza if necessary," he added in a statement.

Smotrich pointed out that destroying Hamas is the best way to ensure security and return the captives.
