The Israeli occupation army issued a warning to residents of several areas in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, urging them to evacuate their homes immediately before a military attack is launched.
The warning included residents of the Old City of Gaza, Sabra, Tal al-Hawa, and Western Zeitoun, where the occupation claimed that Palestinian factions were launching rockets from within civilian areas.
The Israeli military indicated that it had warned these areas "numerously," calling on residents to immediately move south to shelters in the Mawasi area, claiming this was "for their safety," according to the statement.
This warning comes amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in tens of thousands of civilian casualties and the displacement of large numbers of residents, amid a worsening humanitarian crisis.
