Palestinian media reported on Tuesday that prisoner Ali Ashour al-Batsh, a resident of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, died in Israeli occupation prisons as a result of being subjected to severe torture.
Palestinian media confirmed that Al-Batsh died in an occupation prison after a period of detention, amid calls for an international investigation into the circumstances of his death, especially in light of the increasing reports of violations against Palestinian prisoners.
It is noteworthy that the dead is the brother of the leader of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Khaled al-Batsh.
