The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced today, Monday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,284, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, 2023.
It added that the number of injuries has risen to 111,709 since the beginning of the aggression, while a number of victims are still under the rubble, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
It pointed out that 13 dead (9 of whom had their bodies recovered, and 4 new dead) and 16 injuries arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals during the past 24 hours.
It is noteworthy that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip entered into effect on January 19, and since it came into effect, a number of citizens have been killed and injured in various parts of the Strip.
