The Israeli occupation army spoke on Wednesday evening about retrieving the body of a prisoner from inside a tunnel in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
This came in a statement published on the "X" platform.
The army said that its forces and the General Security Service (Shabak) "were able to retrieve the body of Yousef al-Zayadneh from inside a tunnel in the Rafah area on Tuesday."
He added that Al-Zayadneh "was kidnapped on October 7, 2023 and killed while in captivity," without providing any details on how he was killed.
